Katie Perry has no slow moment: with a divorce from her husband, a failed comeback, an album that received ridicule and boos, and a tour that did not get great reviews,
This is a tiring time for her. Now, mistakes she made about a year ago are catching up.
About a year ago it was reported that Perry and her team were investigated for filming in a protected sand dune area without proper permits.
The protected area appeared in Perry’s music video for the song Lifetimes from her comeback album 143.
Now, Perry is paying the price for the mistake.
According to local media on the Balearic Islands,
Perry and her team had to pay a fine of about 7,000 dollars.
According to the reports, the fine has already been paid.
Local authorities stated that it was a serious act
But no further fines will be imposed as no real damage was done to the sand dunes.
At the beginning of the month, Perry performed in Detroit, Michigan, and as in previous shows, she invited fans on stage to sing with her the 2011 hit
The One That Got Away. Among the fans, a girl named McKenna was very excited to go on stage to sing with her idol.
Apparently, she became too excited and fainted, collapsing on the floor just before Perry and the fans were about to start singing together.
In footage from the event, McKenna is seen collapsing, Perry immediately bends to assist her, and staff arrive to remove her quickly and provide medical care.
