3 Doors Down Lead Singer Reveals: “I Have Stage 4 Cancer, Pray for Me”

Brad Arnold, lead singer of the American rock band 3 Doors Down, revealed that he was diagnosed with kidney cancer that has also spread to his lungs.
“It is stage 4 and it is not good, but I am not afraid, God is all-powerful,” he said, asking fans to pray for him.

Brad Arnold, lead singer of 3 Doors Down, revealed that he is facing stage 4 cancer that began in his kidneys and spread to his lungs.
“I have bad news for you today.

I was sick a few weeks ago and went to the hospital, they checked me and I received a diagnosis that I have kidney cancer that has spread to the lungs, and it is stage 4 and it is not good,” Arnold said in a touching video posted on the band’s Instagram account.

“But you know what?” he continued optimistically, “We serve God Almighty and he can overcome anything.
So I have no fear, I am really not afraid of this at all. But it is going to force us to cancel our summer tour, and we are sorry about that.

I would appreciate it if you pray for me whenever you can, because this is not my time.
I love you, God loves you.”
“This is Not My Time” is also the title of a song by the band.

3 Doors Down is best known for their huge hit “Here Without You,” released in 2003, which sold millions of copies in the United States and around the world.
The band’s tour was supposed to start next week, on May 15.

Arnold, the lead singer, is one of the three founding members of the band.
One of them, guitarist Matt Roberts, passed away in 2016, likely due to a drug overdose.
