Panic at the massive festival in France: 145 people stabbed with syringes
The festival took place as every year in cities across France

But turned into a scene of fear and terror last weekend when more than 100 people, including 15 year-old girls, reported being stabbed by strangers with syringes.
The Fête festival is a long-standing and beloved festival in France that has been held for over 40 years on June 21, the first day of summer.

This year, alongside the music and celebration, horror was recorded at the popular festival.
According to reports from Paris, Angoulême, and other cities in France, at least 145 people were stabbed with syringes during the crowded celebrations, including boys and 15-year-old girls.

French authorities are still investigating the incidents and trying to determine what the syringes contained, amid fears that they were used to drug partygoers with date-rape substances.
Some of the victims felt unwell after being stabbed and were taken to hospitals, where the chemical composition injected was examined.

Meanwhile, twelve people have been arrested in France on suspicion of involvement in the threatening incidents, including four in Angoulême, where about fifty people were affected according to the police.

In the city of Metz, suspects were also arrested with syringes in their possession.
Similar complaints about a wave of “syringe attacks” were reported about three years ago at the same French festival and in bars, clubs, and music venues.
