HBO’s The Comeback is officially turning into a family affair. TVLine has confirmed that several new recurring cast members have joined the revival — including series star Lisa Kudrow’s real-life son, Julian Stern, who will be making his on-screen TV debut.

Additional new faces include Abbi Jacobson (Broad City), John Early (The Great North), Barry Shabaka Henley (Bob Hearts Abishola), Tony Macht (Dying for Sex), Brittany O’Grady (The White Lotus), and Zane Phillips (Legacies).

While details about their characters are still under wraps, the announcement marks one of the most intriguing ensemble updates yet for the acclaimed meta-comedy. The Comeback originally aired in 2005 before returning for a second season in 2014. Its upcoming third and final season is set to premiere in 2026, closing the book on Valerie Cherish’s long (and hilariously awkward) journey back to the spotlight.
